Navigating the Project Web

Bold red text, which occurs when hovered over by a mouse, indicates a link to another location of the site, a link to an artifact, or a link to an outside site. In general, artifacts and links to different locations will open in a new window while links to different pages within this website will open in the current window.

Purpose and content of the Project Web

This web site provides access to all relevant project artifacts including documents, guidelines, and reports created during all phases of the JIMS2 project. This will include:

  • Baselined Use Cases Use cases that have been baselined in ClearCase.

  • Baseline In Progress Use Cases Use cases that are in the process of being baselined in ClearCase.

  • JIMS2 Domain (Formerly JIMS2 System Artifacts) General JIMS2 documents, such as Analysis and Design Guidelines, Data Management, Deployment Plan, UI Guidelines, and Enabling Technologies.

  • JIMS2 Project Module Artifacts Artifacts related to a use case within the JIMS2 system are located on this page.  Use cases may contain a Business Modeling and a Requirements section. Business Modeling links to the Vision and Business Analysis document for the use case. The Requirements section contains a link to the System Use Case Specification for the subsystem. Both of these artifacts are Word documents that are generated using the Rational toolset (Rose, RequisitePro and SoDA).

  • JIMS2 Team Members A listing of all people that are involved with the JIMS2 project.

  • Rational Development Platform Contains Rational software tools, documentation library, RUP phases, and Rational training.

  • Site Map Table of contents for the JIMS2 web site.

  • Software Development Plan Contains the JIMS2 Plans and Guidelines, a diagram of artifacts in the Software Development Plan.  It outlines the entire JIMS2 project.

  • Training Contains the JIMS1 legacy training manuals, JIMS2 training manuals, assorted training material, and design patterns study group information.

  • UI Prototype Links Contains links to access the JIMS2 UI Prototypes.

  • JIMS ITC Page Accesses the JIMS home page.
